    Hi, thanks for making this.

    Unfortunately, I cannot get it to work.

    Versions: Pligg 9.9.5 with Joomla 1.5.8 (then tested again with a clean install of Joomla 1.5.7, but no luck there either)

    I have been testing locally (localhost)

    My questions:
    - When you say “install pligg in /”, does that mean it should be inside or outside the joomla folder? My Joomla folder is localhost/liberty and my pligg folder is localhost/pligg. Should my pligg folder be localhost/liberty/pligg?

    - The last plugin parameter says site url. My Joomla site is at localhost/liberty and my pligg site is at localhost/pligg. What should this parameter be?

    Well there might be some difference with the versions. I dint really test it anything after Joomla 1.5.2 and I have another person reporting that its not working on 1.5.6 and above. For now I would say, play with it a little and see if you can get it to work.
    Regarding your question on install dir of pligg. It doesnt really matter where you are installing as long as you provide correct db details.

    Try testing it online rather than local to see if it works. If you need any assistance let me know.

    you mean to say, after you logged in, you cant log out? Try to login and log out from joomla instead of pligg and see if that works.

    Does anyone know how to get JPligger for 1.5 working in 1.5.9. I managed to get it to stop showing the pligg page unless the user is logged in. But once the user is logged in, it still shows this page again and the user is not recognized by pligg as having logged in.

    Also I notice that the registration link that is substituted for pligg’s registration users community builder. Is this a requirement or can a link to Joomla’s core registration be used instead.

    It would so be great if this pluggin was updated for Jooma 1.5.8 and .9 and for pligg 1.0 also. This capability is so needed in th Joomla community.

    @Gogetit
    Check your pligg DB settings again. Do you have pligg installed on a different server or same?

    CB is not required for this mod to work.

    I need a sponsor to upgrade this project to next versions.

    Is this available for pligg 1.0 ?

    @ormuz

    I havent tested it on 1.0, you can try it and see. If it doesnt and you still want this to work for your system, you can fund an upgrade to this mod. Contact me if you are interested.

    Thank you.

    Hi Boxed,

    I have already installed the Jpligger sucessfully, and it sync the DB also.

    But the problem is, when I click on “Remember me”

    It does not work, do you have any idea where I should edit it to make it work?

    E.g. The Cookie or Cache files to configure the session.

    Thanks

    Sorry,

    I mean after I click that.

    And I log-in, I can’t log-out.

    I think it’s session problem.

    You should be able to logout from Joomla. Please disable all login/logout/register buttons/logic from pligg. This will use Joomla as a base.
